Solferino Cherries, a haven for growing cherries is located in the Hilltops region off the Olympic Highway on the North side of Young, NSW. Our passion lies in the art of growing premium cherries while also providing opportunities for cherry picking and packing.

Solferino is a family owned and operated business. Samantha and Tony employ ~ 8-10 staff on a full- time basis, most of which have been with Solferino since Samantha and Tony purchased the property in 2019. With an inclusive and happy culture, each staff member understands their value and is motivated in contributing to the goal of producing superior quality fruit year-in-year-out.
Our Cherries
Currently, Solferino grow ~10 different cherry varieties each with its own genetics and unique pollination requirements – a further aspect of production facilitating newfound knowledge and skills.
Growing ten varieties enables staggered fruit production throughout the growing season, however, come harvest time it’s one month of pure intensity.
